Ella Skoloda, the first Ouray School student to compete with the Montrose High School mountain bike team, has been named Regional Champion in the category of sophomore girls. This is her second year of competition, and she is the first on her team to achieve this honor. She said it came as a “complete shock.”

Every day at 12:35 pm hungry Ouray high school students quickly collect their items and make their way off campus. Students have until 1:20 to return for fourth period. A lot of recent changes within the school have caused students to stop eating lunch in the cafeteria.

Laughter and much chatter among the Ouray High School halls escalate, as students speed their way through the hallways trying to capture their BeReal. A notification gets sent to those app users once every single day at a different time, giving users 2 minutes to snap the perfect shot. The app focuses on capturing one's true self without the ability to photoshop.
